Amanda Peet hit the red carpet Tuesday for the New York premiere of her new indie comedy Please Give — just eight days after giving birth to her second child. 38-year-old Peet welcomed daughter Molly last week.
Sporting a sleek, pulled-back ponytail, the glowing actress hid her post-baby bump and played up her ample cleavage in a chic silk Lanvin baby doll dress paired with Christian Louboutin open-toe heels and a Marc Jacobs clutch. Amanda who married screenwriter David three years ago — has previously admitted motherhood was not what she expected.
“One surprise of motherhood for me was how little control I have,” she said. “I thought it would be an extended, blissful romance with me at the helm, cuddling this little creature to life. “It’s been bittersweet and humbling to let her lead, and to try not to be perfect myself.”
We can wish that she would be happy with her new baby.
