Lindsay Lohan Headed for the Slammer

Another jail sentence may seem inevitable  for Lindsay Lohan, but she can at least rest assured that it's not imminent.

Despite a report that Lindsay would be spending the summer in stripes after failing to attend, as ordered by the court, at least one alcohol-education course per week, Lohan's lawyer tells E! News that the embattled starlet remains in compliance with the court.

"Though there have been occasional weeks when Lindsay has missed her alcohol treatment class, she has always managed to make up the class the following week by attending two classes," Shawn Chapman Holley said.

"For this reason, we contend that Ms. Lohan is in substantial compliance with the conditions of her probation."

Get a load of those semantics, kids. Substantial is not complete.

LiLo's probation, for those requiring a refresher, stems from her DUI busts back in 2007. At a progress hearing on the matter last fall, the judge told Lindsay she must get court approval if she's MIA from the program for more than 21 days.

"If you don't do that, the deputy district attorney will be asking for jail time," the judge said at the time.
The current hitch is this: While Lohan has never gone more than 21 days without making an appearance at a class, she admittedly has gone more than 7 days without doing so, potentially violating another, seemingly conflicting, term of her probation.

Berry has ended four years relation with Gabriel Aubry

Another relationship of Hollywood's megastar Halle Berry's has broken down. Her relation with French-Canadian model Gabriel Aubry after dating him for more than four years now see the result of emptiness. No specific reason was given for the splitness.

Berry and Aubry are working out a permanent custody agreement regarding their 2-year-old daughter Nahla, according to the celebrity news Web site.
Berry won an Oscar for her work in the 2001 drama "Monster's Ball." She also co-starred in the "X-Men" trilogy.

Sporting a sleek, pulled-back ponytail, the glowing actress hid her post-baby bump and played up her ample cleavage in a chic silk Lanvin baby doll dress paired with Christian Louboutin open-toe heels and a Marc Jacobs clutch. Amanda  who married screenwriter David three years ago — has previously admitted motherhood was not what she expected.

“One surprise of motherhood for me was how little control I have,” she said. “I thought it would be an extended, blissful romance with me at the helm, cuddling this little creature to life. “It’s been bittersweet and humbling to let her lead, and to try not to be perfect myself.”

Sandra Bullock secretly adopted baby Louis before split with her estranged husband Jesse James

 
Sandra Bullock has confirmed she has filed for divorce from her husband and she is a new mother - she secretly adopted a baby boy.

Louis, who was born in New Orleans, was formally welcomed into the Bullock family in January after a four-year adoption process.

Bullock and James decided to keep the adoption news secret until after the Oscars, where Bullock won a best actress gong for The Blind Side, but 10 days after the ceremony they separated following reports that James had had an 11-month affair with tattooed model Michelle "Bombshell" McGee.

Sandra Bullock told  she was shocked by James' infidelity, which made her feel “sad and scared".

She said she was filing for divorce and was finalising Louis’ adoption as a "single parent".
Bullock said she chose her baby's name because she heard Louis Armstrong's song What a Wonderful World playing in her head when she first saw him.

Bullock tells the magazine, "It's like he's always been a part of our lives."

Jesse James has reportedly told friends he knows his marriage to Sandra Bullock is over. The motorcycle entrepreneur recently left rehab after receiving treatment for sex addiction but knows he doesn’t stand a chance of winning his wife back.

After being spotted without his wedding ring, a pal said: "Jesse is finally admitting to himself that he blew it. The marriage is over and he only has himself to blame.

"His stint at the Arizona rehab facility helped Jesse understand what he has done to his wife and his family. He is a beaten man. Jesse removing his wedding ring is a big deal. As long as he wore his wedding ring, he believed there was some hope. Now, he is finally admitting to himself and everyone else that any chance of getting back together with Sandra is dead," the pal added.

Sources close to Sandra thought that she would get back with him when the incident just occurred but as time has gone by she has realized that there is no way she can forgive him. She knows now that she deserves better and that she will eventually heal.

Hard time is running on Bret Michaels' life. Bret Michaels is in critical condition suffering from a brain hemorrhage.His doctors discovered bleeding at the base of his brain stem. Tests are being conducted but did not know where he was being treated.Michaels is currently a contestant on the third season of Donald Trump's NBC competitive reality show, "The Celebrity Apprentice." For the first six episodes.

Michaels, 47, glam-rock reality TV star had an emergency appendectomy at a private care facility for diabetics last week after complaining of stomach pains before he was scheduled to perform at Sea World in San Antonio, Texas. Michaels later wrote on his website that though the surgery "has taken its toll," doctors expected him to make a full recovery. The audience of Michaels wants him to round well soon!

MICHEAL C. HALL FULLY RECOVERS FROM CANCER

Brave never fears disaster. The brave "Dexter" star, Michael C. Hall says, he  is "fully recovered" from cancer, returned to work. Jennifer Carpenter said Friday that Hall was "incredibly brave" when he announced in January that he was undergoing treatment for Hodgkin's lymphoma, a cancer that attacks the lymph nodes.

Hall went into remission and continued treatment at a health facility near Los Angeles. Hall announced he was battling the illness in January, shortly before his Golden Globes win for best actor in a TV drama series, describing his condition as "eminently treatable and curable."

Last month, Hall reiterated as much, telling an audience at the TV show-honoring PaleyFest that he was preparing for his final treatment and was "great on the health front." Very shortly his fans will find himself in his enthusiastic form.

Bristol bombarded with calls after hackers broke into mother's email account

Daughter of Sarah Palin, Bristol Palin, testified Wednesday. While she was 17 and pregnant in 2008 when her mother Sarah Palin's Yahoo! account was invaded after the former Alaska governor was picked as the Republican vice presidential candidate.

  Bristol said she worried when a bunch of boys called, claiming they were at her front door and wanted in. "We live in the middle of nowhere in Alaska ... in the middle of the woods," Bristol said during the trial of a 22-year-old former college student accused of hacking the account.

The trial continues Thursday and could last more than a week. Sarah Palin also was subpoenaed to testify but it was unclear if and when she would.

David Kernell was an economics major at the University of Tennessee when he was accused of hacking the account. He is on trial on charges of identity theft, wire fraud, intentionally accessing Mrs Palin's email account without authorization and obstructing an FBI investigation. If convicted, he could be sent to prison for up to 50 years.

To combat against poverty, disease and grow more awareness on AIDS celebrities increased their contribution. It was Wednesday night's charity-focused "Idol Gives Back" episode featured the likes of Victoria Beckham, Jennifer Garner and Morgan Freeman traveling across the world to raise awareness about issues of poverty, disease and the need for the more fortunate to help those in need. In the midst of the two-hour philanthropic effort, former Eurythmics singer Annie Lennox appeared via satellite wearing a T-shirt that read "HIV Positive."

Lennox explained on YouTube, "I can tell you the good news is actually I am not. However, many people are. In fact, 22 million in sub-saharan Africa are currenly HIV positive. And I am wearing this in solidarity with them because it's very hard when you are HIV postive to be open about your status and to be able to tell your family and your friends."

Leonard Nimoy retires after trip to Vulcan

Best-known as Mr. Spock from Star Trek, actor Leonard Nimoy recently told the Toronto Sun that he plans to retire after 60 years in show business - "too live long and prosper," as hissignature character would say.

A guy who milked Spock, rejected Spock, and then accepted the embrace of fanboys and fangirls the world over, an actor who delivered some of the most poignant moments in the Trek movies, he can take a bow, now, for a job well done and a career which made the most of the opportunities presented to him.

He wore pointy ears long before he joined Star Trek. But he could do other things. One of his best roles, in A Woman Called Golda, was just issued on DVD. He played the man behind the Israeli prime minister Ingrid Bergman in that telefilm.

Nimoy will probably also end his appearances at sci-fi and comic conventions, closing out with the upcoming Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo, taking place April 24-25. But first he makes a stop in Vulcan, Alberta, Canada.

Let us hoping for the best regards this great actor for rest of his life.

Siobhan has so much talent, stage presence, and charisma! She chooses her songs wisely and makes sure they match her considerable abilities. And Crystal Bowersox wants to go home!  Maybe the world will turn upside down and Siobhan will win American Idol!  Don't think it's going to happen though,  when Crystal Bowersox sang People Get Ready by the Impressions and burst into tears at the end.  That's going to win over the hearts of any voters that weren't already in her camp. At least she won't be eliminated tomorrow night like Tim Urban or Aaron Kelly, but may be Siobhan Magnus makes the most of her eventual position of American Idol runner up.

"Two and a Half Men" actor, Charlie Sheen, is looking to suppress statements he made to an Aspen police officer. That officer will likely testify during the upcoming proceeding in Pitkin County District Court.

The judge in his Christmas Day spousal abuse case has called for both sides to return to court in Aspen, Colorado on June 18.

Sheen was charged with felony menacing, misdemeanor 3rd degree assault and misdemeanor criminal mischief stemming from an Xmas Day fight with his wife, Brooke Mueller. Sheen's team wants anything Charlie said to police on the day of the alleged incident deemed inadmissible because he was never read his Miranda rights.Charlie is hoping now the prosecutors will drop the case and he will get free.

Saving one's life one could think he would be the super hero. The actor of X-Files, David Duchovny realized he wasn’t quite the superhero he thought he was. Once he thought that he'd saved a man from choking - only to later discover the guy was having an anxiety attack.

The actor - who stars in new movie 'The Joneses' alongside Demi Moore and Miley Cyrus - came across a stranger struggling for breath a couple of years ago and the quick-thinking star quickly administered the Heimlich manoeuvre.

He said, “I was in Vancouver shooting ‘X-Files’ and one night I went outside to walk my dog. I see a guy in a bathrobe, and as I got closer and I could tell he was choking.

“So I grabbed him and did my best Heimlich manoeuvre, like I’m really yanking on his diaphragm. Finally, he calmed down and I waited with him until an ambulance came.The 49-year-old star said, “I was in a restaurant and he came up to me and said, ‘Remember me. You gave me the Heimlich, but I was just having an anxiety attack.’ I’m thinking, ‘Thank God I didn’t kill him.’ Anyway, he bought me a drink.”

O'Brien opens nationwide comedy tour

Conan Christopher O'Brien, an American television host and comedian, fueled by three months of unused comedy energy, kicked off a nationwide tour that evoked his late-night brand of edgy humor and brought a college-town crowd to its feet.

"I'm not supposed to admit this, ladies and gentlemen, but I really missed the applause," O'Brien said Monday. "You have no idea how shallow I am."

"This is the first time anyone has paid to see me. They've paid me to go away," O'Brien told the audience of more than 2,500, an obvious reference to the former "Tonight" host's $32 million exit deal with NBC.

“My whole take on Twitter is to try to use it how any other responsible community member would. I don’t like to do too much self-promotion on there — when I first joined Twitter, I started following celebrities, and they self-promoted so much that I just un-followed them. So on my personal account, I really just try to share a piece of who I am with people, and be a good neighbor.

“I have other accounts — I have an account for the television show and for the clothing line because I figure if they’re interested in that aspect of my life, then they can follow those accounts. But they’re not following my account to hear me talk about myself. I just try to share links that I find that are interesting, things that I think it’s important to empower people about … I love it."

Bret Michaels recovering in facility for diabetics

Lead singer of the band Poison, Bret Michaels is recovering at a private facility that specializes in the rehabilitation of diabetic patients after his emergency appendectomy Monday.

"While the surgery went well and doctors are optimistic that the rocker will make a full recovery, the fact that he was exhausted due to his rigorous schedule prior to the surgery and coupled with the fact that he has diabetes, the surgery has taken its toll," his rep tells PEOPLE in a statement.

The location of the facility specializing in the rehabilitation of diabetic patients wasn't disclosed.

Michaels had been scheduled to perform in San Antonio on Sunday night. He had been suffering severe stomach pains all day and was urged to seek medical treatment.

Quaid and his wife, Evi, failed to appear in court on Monday on charges they defrauded an innkeeper. Senior Deputy District Attorney Lee Carter says the couple didn't show up when their case was called again on Tuesday..

The Quaids were charged last year with failing to pay a $10,000 hotel bill. They pleaded not guilty in December and were released on $20,000 bail each. Carter says that bail has now been forfeited.
